YOUTH REPRESENTATIVE APPLICATION INFORMATION BELOW _ ALL APPLICATIONS DUE OCTOBER 31, 2025
About Us
On February 16, 1995 Madeleine Albright signed the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), the most widely adopted international treaty in history for the United States of America. Now, 30 years later, the United States stands as the only country who has refused its ratification. On November 20, 2025, to recognize the anniversary of the UN adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, children from every state in this nation will join together on the steps of Capitol Hill. Together we will call for the US ratification of UNCRC, and the right to safe, empowering childhoods in the United States of America.
